Memorial Weekend Camp Out

Amber and C.J. came up for the weekend to go camping for some much needed rest and relaxation.

We were waiting for Trevor to come home so we could leave. What else do you do with your time. Wrestling anyone? Poor C.J. was bombarded but I think he had everything under control.

Cody was more into it than Wyatt.

This was taken the next day (Sat.). This was a very popular site on this trip as you will see.

Canyon

I got lucky with this one. I was taking pictures of everybody and noticed this guy buzzing around. This was the best shot I got of the bee. Not to bad huh?

Trevor really liked this spot. Like I said a very popular spot.

Trevor gave Wyatt a water bottle with a hole poked into the lid so he could drink it better.

Hence the water begins!! C.J. is trying to squirt Amber.

Then it was Cody's turn.

We went for a drive later that day. We were on top of a mountain called Green's Peak and the view was amazing!

It's hard to see, but that is the Sunrise ski slopes on the side of that mountain.

There's actually a spot of snow still around. There was snow still drifted up in some spots.

We saw antelope on the drive. It was really cool.

That's an elk. Not the best picture but still cool none the less.

Possessed elk. When I snapped this picture it was right at sundown so my flash automatically went off , hence the glowing eyes.

On one of our drives we found a teepee somebody made. This was taken quite a distance away.

This fire was actually started by lighting a match on C.J.'s zipper.

We went to a look out point that Trevor found one hunting trip. This freaked me out when Wyatt was looking over the edge.

We went for hike in a nearby meadow.

This camping trip was so fun. Thank you C.J. and Amber for sharing this weekend with us. You guys rock! This trip was so relaxing and fun I can't wait to do it again. You guys made it even more memorable for us. I'm glad you came and shared it with us.
